Lahore: The District Administration of Lahore has announced to launch a strict anti-encroachment drive in the district, as per a post published on administration’s official Facebook page on July 5.

The issued announcement warned masses that under the directives of chief minister of Punjab, an anti-encroachment drive to retrieve state-owned land from illegal occupancy will soon be initiated in the Lahore district. Moreover, under this drive, the national highways and roads will also be cleared of any illegal structures.

The notice also directs masses to report any encroachment on public land on the following number:

It was also instructed that while making a report, the caller should clearly state their mouza, town and tehsil information.
