Islamabad: Engin Altan Duzyatan, the lead actor of the popular Turkish drama ‘Diriliş: Ertuğrul’, will perform the ground-breaking for the Blue World City’s (BWC) Blue Mosque in Islamabad — a news source reported on August 27.
According to the details available, Blue World City Director Arshad Awan had previously sent an invitation to the actor to be present at the aforementioned event. After accepting the director’s request, Duzyatan was issued a multiple-entry, 6-month visa for Pakistan, on his visit to the country’s consulate on August 14.
The Blue Mosque in BWC is to be constructed along the model of Istanbul’s famous Blue Mosque. The administration of the Blue World City has claimed that Duzyatan, who is expected to visit Pakistan in September, will be a special guest of the Blue World City and will participate in the ground-breaking ceremony as well. Duzyatan is also scheduled to visit a number of other events during his visit to Pakistan.
