Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Commissioner Saqib Manan has directed the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to prepare the Rawalpindi Master Plan as soon as possible, according to news published in the national dailies on September 28.

During the meeting held at the RDA, the commissioner instructed the officers concerned to start work on different projects soon. RDA Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa briefed the attendees about ongoing RDA projects including RDA Parking Plaza at Fawara Chowk, Kutchery Chowk, Rawalpindi Ring Road, and Nullah Leh Expressway. The commissioner was also informed about the development works and reforms carried out by the authority.

Moreover, Commissioner Manan visited RDA’s One Window Operation Centre to check the facilities available. He ordered the authority to improve efficiency and solve problems faced by the citizens. Also, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Deputy Director Azizullah briefed the attendees regarding the performance of the agency.
