Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has instructed Arif & Company, the contractor firm hired for the Dry Port Road expansion project, to complete development work by December 2018, according to a news report. The project, which stretches over six kilometres, is expected to cost PKR 300 million.
The contractor has already started work on this project, and drainage lines on either side of the road have been laid. Meanwhile, work on the mega-drainage system along Tipu Road and Rahimabad Railway Bridge has been going on at a fast pace, and its budget has been increased from PKR 250 million to PKR 303 million. As per the report, the project will also feature 83 shops.
