Multan: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Mushtaq Ahmad has stated that the plans to replace old, dilapidated water lines to resolve complaints of the citizens and to provide water to new parts of the city have been prepared and sent to the Punjab Government, a news source reported. WASA had received a number of complaints about mixing of water.
Ahmad was speaking to a delegation of citizens. He stated that for the replacement of old water lines PKR 500 million and to supply water to the new areas lacking water supply, PKR 815 million has been requested from the government.
