Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha on Saturday instructed the authorities to ensure 100% digitisation of land revenue records in the division by the review meeting scheduled for next week, according to news published on March 26.

The commissioner instructed all assistant commissioners to complete the collection of manual mozah. He also said that the reason for land revenue reforms is to prevent unnecessary hassle in government offices and provide immediate solutions for land-related problems.
To this effect, instructions have been issued to all the districts of the Rawalpindi division including; Rawalpindi, Attock, Talagang, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Murree to complete the targets set for the revenue reforms as soon as possible and ensure that all positive implications benefit the masses.
Commissioner Chatta stated ‘the Block Khewats should be unblocked and the interim mutation should be completed by March 31’. He also directed deputy commissioners to visit the offices of sub-registrars to ensure that they are accessible to the masses and that their operations are managed with fairness.

During the meeting, Additional Commissioner Revenue gave a briefing on the performance of all the districts on the five points of Revenue Reforms and revealed that a target of 702 Dehi Markaz Malls have been established for the division, out of which 686 have been completed and operationalized.
