Karachi: Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director General (DG) Abdul Qadeer Mangi has ordered his staff to make arrangements for digitising land record data, reported a news source. He issued the directives while chairing a high-level meeting in the Civic Centre.

Several senior KDA officials, including Member Finance Agha Pervaiz, Secretary Naeem Waheed, Chief Engineer Ram Chand, Finance Director Saeed Khan, and IT Director Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui, attended the meeting.
The session’s participants discussed various administrative matters pertaining to the KDA, and exchanged details on the ongoing development and residential projects in the city. The director general ordered his staff to collect all pending dues from defaulters while staying within their judicial limits.
DG Mangi further elaborated on the means and mechanism for enhancing the development authority’s revenue streams. He called for the implementation of ‘workable solutions’ for addressing KDA’s financial problems.

With regard to the digitisation of land records, the DG has asked for an update to be provided in the upcoming meeting.
