Islamabad: The Defence Housing Authority Islamabad-Rawalpindi (DHAI-R) administration has shared an important notice stating that it has hired additional tankers to resolve the water shortage problem in the society. The post termed an ‘Important Notice’ was shared on the authority’s official page on April 19.

As per the post, the DHAI-R administration has informed its residents that additional tankers have been hired to meet the water demand free of cost. It mentioned that a fee will be charged in monthly bills if the residents use surplus water. The authority has also asked the residents to not pay any amount to the tanker staff.

Moreover, the DHA team asked the residents to register their complaints by calling 1092 using a mobile phone, landline, or DHA mobile apps. It was highlighted that the urgent complaints will be resolved within the same day. All the complaints are recorded and computerised for providing better services. The residents can check the status of their complaints through the mobile app or by calling 1092.
