Lahore: The administration of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has announced to hold a ballot process for determining the successful applicants for its recently launched plots —offered on a four-year payment plan — in DHA Quetta Smart City Phase I soon, according to the developer’s official Facebook page.

The last date for applications submission has been set for December 20 after the management extended it from the initial deadline of December 13 due to immense public response. Zameen.com’s informed sources have revealed that the society administration has received further requests to extend the deadline after it expired last Friday.
With the deadline expired, the society administration is now preparing to hold the ballot to determine successful applicants in the first month of 2020. DHA Quetta has yet to announce the date in this regard, and Zameen.com has learnt that it may take place after the second week of next month.

Estate House CEO Sohail Khan, who is an authorised DHA Quetta agent, stated that the DHA Quetta main office and the society’s marketing and transfer offices in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad remained occupied throughout the time between the project’s official launch and the last date to submit the application forms. Khan also revealed that the response received online by interested applicants from all over the country and overseas had been extremely encouraging.

Meanwhile, the DHA Quetta administration is busy sorting the applications and attending to the correction cases, where incomplete application forms or those with missing documents is being addressed. The administration intends to include all applicants in the balloting process since everyone has paid the processing fee.
The Estate House CEO further reported that from the status of the ongoing development work at DHA Quetta Smart City Phase I, it is pretty clear that complete property possessions would be transferred to the scheme’s members in the next three years, or perhaps even before that.
