Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has issued a tender notice for the development of infrastructure in Sector A of the DHA Quetta Smart City Phase – I project, a news source reported on October 8.

To this effect, the administration has invited sealed bids on single-stage-two-envelope procedures for the ‘construction of infrastructure works in Sector A’ from interested firms having requisite experience and eligibility. The bidding firms are required to have a valid license from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2020-21 in the category C2 and above with the specified specialization codes.
Moreover, it was publicised that the bidding documents could be procured from the office of the Director Town Planning & Building Control (TP&BC); located on Quetta’s Airport Road. The firms concerned can purchase these documents between 13 and 17 October during office hours. However, the bidding documents will be offered upon submitting a written request on the firm’s letterhead and after paying the prescribed and non-refundable bid document fee of PKR 20,000.

The sealed technical and financial proposals (one original and two copies) can be submitted at the aforementioned office until October 30.
