Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) for hiring an operator for ‘RCC Pre-Fab walls and column factory’, according to a post shared on the authority’s official Facebook page on May 21.

As per the details, the DHA Quetta has established RCC Pre-Fab Walls & Column factory with a capacity of creating 400-450 columns per day. The administration is looking for experienced and professional operators for its operations. The post mentioned that the interested operators should submit their EOI by May 31 to Director Town Planning & Building Control, DHA Quetta (Main Office Airport Road, Quetta Cantt).
The following are some of the conditions mentioned in the post:
- Incomplete documents will be treated as non-responsive and rejected
- Firms and operators not registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and DHA Quetta are not eligible to submit the proposal
- Interest firms can register themselves with the TP&BC, DHA Quetta
- DHA Quetta reserves the right to accept or reject all the firms as per the provision of rules and regulations
- Documents issued by DHA Quetta must be hand filled only by the operator to be considered for evaluation

The DHA Quetta is committed to creating a high-tech self-sustained, environment-friendly, and futuristically developed society. Reportedly, the authority is developing sub-sectors, a Dancing Fountain, Bankers/ Business Enclave, family parks, apartments, a Grand Entrance Complex, and 3-kilometre Jinnah Expressway. The above-mentioned projects are expected to be completed by 2023.
