Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has invited bids from contractor firms for the construction of overhead and underground water tanks in the housing society, as per an advert published on the authority’s official Facebook page on October 11.

Interested firms that are registered with DHA Quetta and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) ranking C-5 category or above are requested to submit their duly completed sealed ‘technical’ and ‘financial proposal’ (one original and two copies) for the project by October 30.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Director of Town Planning and Building Control (TP&BC) from October 10-25 during office hours. A written request (on the applicant firm’s official letterhead) must be submitted by the interested parties along with a prescribed document fee (non-refundable) of PKR 25,000 pay order in favour of DHA Quetta.

The notice highlighted that incomplete documents will be treated as non-responsive and will be rejected. Moreover, DHA Quetta reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any or all firms as per the provision of rules and regulations.
