Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has invited bids for the fabrication works at the Grand Entrance of Buildings 1 & 3 from Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) firms, according to the post shared on the authority’s official Facebook page on December 15.

As per the details, the DHA Quetta administration has invited firms to submit an application for the fabrication work of the façade (mini cobweb) at the Grand Entrance of Buildings 1 & 3. It was mentioned that the interested firms can collect the tender documents from the office of the Director Development, during office hours, from December 17 to 22.
Similarly, the DHA Quetta has also invited sealed bids for the construction of culverts, and bridges at the 5-lane expressway in Phase-1 of DHA Quetta. The administration has invited bids on the ‘Single-Stage, Two-Envelope’ procedure from experienced, eligible, and reputable construction firms and developers. The firms must have a valid license of PEC in category C-3 for the year 2022/2023.
Moreover, the bidding documents can be obtained from the Office of the Director of Town Planning & Building Control from December 15 to 30. The interested firms must submit a written request on the firm’s letterhead and payment of a bid document fee of PKR 25,000 in favour of DHA Quetta as a Pay Order.
As per the details, the financial and technical proposals, duly completed in all respects, must be submitted at the address: Main DHA Office, Airport Road, Director Development. DHA Quetta; no later than December 22 for fabrication work and no later than January 15, 2023, for construction of culverts/ bridges.

The DHA administration stated that the incomplete documents will be treated as non-responsive and will be rejected. The firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) will be eligible to submit the bid. The bid documents will be issued by the DHA Quetta and must be hand-filled by the contractors.
