Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has invited sealed bids for the development and construction of infrastructure in Sector A of Smart City DHA Quetta (Phase-I), according to a post shared on the authority’s Facebook page on November 15.

The DHA administration has invited sealed bids on the ‘Single Stage, Two Envelope’ procedure for the development/ construction of infrastructure in Sector A from reputable, eligible, and experience construction developers and firms with a valid license obtained from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2022-23 in the category C2 or above.
As per the details, the bidding documents can be acquired during office hours from the office of the DHA Quetta Town Planning & Building Control (TP&BC) Director from November 17 to November 25. For obtaining the documents, interested parties should submit a written request on the firm’s letterhead and payment of the prescribed bid document fee of PKR 50,000 (non-refundable) set in favour of DHA Quetta as a Pay Order.

The administration also disclosed that the sealed technical and financial proposals (one original and two copies) completed in all respects must be submitted by December 9 at the address: Director Town Planning & Building Control, DHA Quetta, Main DHA Office, Airport Road, Quetta Cantt. It was mentioned that the DHA reserves the right to reject any or all firms as per the provisions of rules and regulations. Incomplete documents shall be treated as rejected and non-responsive. Construction developers/ firms not registered with PEC will not be eligible to submit the bid.
