Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta administration has issued an important announcement for members whose process of files’ transfers and allocations were left incomplete owing to the closure of regional offices, as per a notice published on the authority’s official Facebook page on July 07.

The members have been informed that after the Eid holidays, their documentation will be handed over to them in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad by the special team formed by the DHA Quetta head office. It was also clarified that this team will not be able to execute any new allocations or transfers. For this purpose, the buyer and seller should reach out to the DHA Quetta head office and schedule a meeting.

In a previous development, the DHA Quetta administration had announced that it had banned physical file handling through the regional offices, in an attempt to make the entire process more transparent and straightforward. The administration announced shutting down regional offices to review the new automated system that will be used for file transfer, allocation and sale and purchase. The authority assured of its utmost cooperation in case of any issues or glitches in the new automated system.
