Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has announced an extension in the last date for depositing the first down payment for its Smart City Phase I project, according to the project’s social media channels.
This deposit deadline extension has been granted to facilitate the scheme’s allottees during the going coronavirus pandemic. The new deadline for deposit payment has yet to be communicated by the housing authority.

Previously, the DHA Quetta administration had stated that they would share the down payment details for the project’s 12 ballot categories with ballot winners. The management recently communicated the delay in the issuance of confirmation letters owing to the ongoing lockdown.

In a bid to stop the spread of novel coronavirus, DHA Quetta has already shut down its offices in Lahore Karachi and Rawalpindi till April 15.
Previously, the DHA Quetta Smart City Phase –I had conducted its first ballot on March 14, wherein plots of multiple sizes were allotted under 12 categories for residential, commercial and farmhouse constructions.
