Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has invited Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for consultancy services for underground electrical and grid station design & deployment in the housing project, according to a post shared on the authority’s Facebook page on November 2.

As per the details, the administration has invited EOI from eligible and experienced firms. The last date for firms to submit EOI is November 15. The DHA team shared certain conditions for the interested companies:
- Incomplete documents will be considered as non-responsive and rejected
- All firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and DHA Quetta in order to submit their proposals
- If any firm is not registered, they can register with Town Planning & Building Control, DHA Quetta
- Preference will be given to Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO)-registered firms
- DHA Quetta has the right to accept or reject all the proposals submitted at any time before the acceptance, without giving any reason
The DHA Quetta is developing the first-ever most advanced, self-sustainable, and environmentally-friendly smart city. It was mentioned that the DHA management is undertaking development works on a mega-scale that include civil infrastructure works for residential precincts and commercial zones.

Moreover, commercial buildings, Grand Entrance Complex, parks, signature houses, and the grand mosque are in various phases of completion. It was mentioned that the DHA administration committed to fast-paced development work so that possession of plots could be awarded to the customers by the end of 2023.
