Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta administration has invited bids for the development work at sub-sector A-1 of DHA Quetta Smart City (Phase-1), according to an advertisement published in the leading newspaper on July 30.

As per the tender notice, the administration has invited sealed bids from reputed construction firms and developers having a valid license from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2022-23 in the category C-1 or above. The bids are to be submitted according to the ‘Single-Stage-Two-Envelope’ procedure for the construction of leftover infrastructure at the sub-sector A-1.
Moreover, the bidding documents are available at the office of the Town Planning and Building Control (TP & BC) Director from August 1 till August 15. The bidding document can be acquired during office hours after submitting a written request on the firm’s letterhead and paying of prescribed bid documents fee (non-refundable) PKR 50,000 per set in favour of DHA Quetta as a pay order.
It was shared that the sealed technical and financial proposal (one original and two copies) duly completed must be submitted by August 20. The address for submitting the bid is Director Development, DHA Quetta Main DHA Office, Airport Road, Quetta, Cantt.

Additionally, the administration shared some conditions to keep in mind when submitting bids:
- Incomplete documents will be considered irresponsive and will be rejected
- DHA Quetta has the right in its sole discretion to reject any or all firms as per provisions of rules and regulations
