Peshawar: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Peshawar is undergoing rapid development, with the authority expected to sign memorandums of understanding (MoU) with the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and Bank Al-Habib Limited tomorrow (Wednesday), as per DHA’s official Facebook page.

Reportedly, DHA Peshawar will sign a contract with the FWO for the development of new sectors in the housing society. Additionally, the authority is bringing Bank Al Habib Limited on board to offer a home construction financing facility to its consumers. Under this agreement, the banks will offer interested customers easy loans of PKR 10 million to PKR 15 million, at a rate of Kibor+1.75% per annum.

It was further reported that a possession handover ceremony for the construction of a branch and regional headquarters of the Meezan Bank will also commence in DHA Peshawar from tomorrow. Additionally, in order to fast-track the development of the housing project, the authority has also announced that overseas Pakistanis will be allowed to utilize the Roshan Digital Accounts facility to pay their dues and instalments with ease.
