Peshawar: The Defence Housing Authority Peshawar (DHAP) has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified firms for the execution of underground electrification works for both high and low temperature transmission lines, according to a publication. The interested firms are required to submit their prequalification documents latest by May 29 (2 PM).

As per the publication, the contractors interested in being part of the prequalification and tendering process should have a valid Pakistan Engineering Council Certificate in C2 or above. The advertisement further states that the firms should possess specialisation codes CE 09, CE 10, EE 04, EE 05, EE 06, and EE 08. In addition to that the applicants are also required to present proof of similar experienced, while they must also be registered with the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).

The prequalification documents can be procured from the office of DHAP Director Works against the payment of PKR 5,000 – to be paid in the form of a pay order. The publication further directs the eligible firms to strictly follow the instructions mentioned in the documents as the DHAP will not entertain incomplete prequalification applications.
