It seems as if apartments are in, and … well nothing is out per se, but apartments are definitely in! Defence Housing Society (DHA) Lahore is certainly keeping up with the trend; first, it came out with DHA Goldcrest (mall and residency), and now we’re hearing good things about DHA PentaSquare. This new project is a building fully dedicated to apartments and a commercial area, facilitated with all amenities expected in a DHA development.
The building features 1-,2-,and 3-bedroom apartments, a spectacular shopping mall, and high-end corporate offices. Thus, it’s perfect for investors who want to live in a superb environment, who want to work and/or conduct business in a prestigious area, and who want to make hefty profits from the traffic the mall is likely to attract.
Even though most of the details are rather hushed as of now, we do have a few general tidbits of information that we can enlighten you with. So let’s get started!
Booking announcement
The most exciting thing about the project right now is the fact that booking is due to begin on December 31 … a date that’s just a few days away! The booking process will take place in DHA PentaSquare’s Phase V site office.
Looks like the New Year will be off to a good start, especially for those who are interested in this project. This also means that details regarding the prices, payment plan, and other similar matters will be revealed soon. We really hope that the rates and payment options make these units well within the reach of many people. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
Location & development
It was mentioned in a previous blog that DHA Pentasquare will be close to Jalal Sons in DHA Phase V. Doesn’t that sound ideal? I mean, you can simply venture out of your apartment building onto the wide streets of CCA Phase V and into Jalal Sons to purchase all the goodies you want.
Even though development has not begun yet, a DHA official has told us that it will begin soon after the booking process is complete. The site is designed to give a panoramic view of lush greenery, as more than 62% of the surrounding area is green and beautiful.
Facilities and amenities
As it is DHA we are talking about, we have to expect the best of the best. The complex provides accommodation for domestic help, which is a very convenient addition. Moreover, the building has a food court, a hyper market, a swimming pool, gymnasium and spa, and is equipped with cargo lifts, elevators, and escalators. Oh my goodness, I am liking it already!
And that’s not all. There’s a 24-hour electricity generator, indoor community halls, a day care centre (hallelujah for the working mommies!), and a state-of-the-art cinema room! Wow, I seriously need to ask my father to loan me his cheque book come December 31.
The list goes on, folks. There is also a 24-hour medical facility, handicap access, an integrated building management system, plumbing and garbage chute facilities, a parking management system, a security control centre and 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
Future prospects
I really want to know what price tag is attached to the project. However, the information I’ve received so far sounds good. I am personally rather impressed with the combination of facilities that DHA PentaSquare plans to offer. It certainly sounds like a high-end project but as DHA developments usually come with a premium price, we can expect the prices to represent the grandeur of the project.
However, you never know. Only time will tell how much this project is asking investors to pull out of their pockets. Rest assured, I’ll update you if I come to know of any additional developments. So what do you think of this project so far?

We, in Pakistan are certainly entering into trendy era of construction. It is good for the market and people too, provided the prices are kept at reasonable level and with in the reach of many, at least.
Developers have started adopting the concept of state of the art huge malls, which again is a good sign. I hope that 2016 shall be an excellent year for the property business.

I believe the author is over reacting to the situation and enticing the readership. Zameen.com need to be professional in their presentation and write a balanced article. DHA or any other developer’s record in Pakistan is not clean on many perspectives i.e. quality of development, time frame of delivery, what happens if they don’t deliver? Why payments are not linked to construction progress? Why are buyers monies not kept in an escrow? Why developers don’t pay compensation for delay when investors lose opportunity to invest in somewhere? There is a long list of black blobs on Pakistani elite and ordinary developers. I wish Zameen.com works for improvement of investor’s rights and for the market rather than being acting like a paid agent of the developer……………….Sorry for hard words but I learn’t all this by being a victim to several real estate development promises which never materialized or if they materialized – it took 10-12 years to complete like Bahria Phase 8 in RWP.

I got the following details from the site office staff yesterday.
Initially only 77 apartments of the 300+ will be offered on 31st Dec, 2015
25 One Bedroom apartments
10 Two Bedroom apartments
40 Three Bedroom apartments
2 Studio apartments
Prices will depend on the covered area
Booking will be on a first come first served basis.
1 lac booking charge will be required at the time of booking in the form of a pay order favouring DHA.
15% of the price will have to be parted within 30 days
The remaining amount will be charged in 10 equal installments spread over a 30 month period at which point the project will be ready for posession.
Like to know how i can be part of this project. May be, I have to came to Pakistan with my overseas Check book.

price will be 14000 rs per sq ft for all kind/every size apartment. It’s kind of expensive. I rather have my own small house than buying this.
Seriously these apartments are not worth buying, considering the prices which are not justifiable. One need to do a cost benefit ration comparison before buying them, in the same cost of single bed apartment you can get a fully constructed 5marla house even in DHA.
Or if you are seriously looking for some apartments with same budget then do try in Sharjah / Dubai etc. where at least you can earn a good return.

Aslamalaikum, I have question from my dear potential investor, I would like to ask, did any body visited the plot where DHA is going to construct a Penta Square? That plot is enough for the penta square or they will construct some where else later. Did any one enquire about the duration of the project. Example 3 Years. Anyone asked, 3 years from which date. Last why they released only 77 apartments only, why holding others?????
