Multan: The administration of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan recently announced that the South Punjab Secretariat would be established on Matital Road — with the government department to be developed in close proximity to the housing scheme, according to a news source published on the society’s Facebook page on September 17.
The development of the South Punjab Secretariat on Matitial Road is anticipated to boost business and economic activity in the DHA Multan area — with the two projects expected to be connected through the ‘Iqbal Gate’ of the residential scheme. Reportedly, as per the government announcement, the location for the South Punjab Secretariat on Matital Road was previously approved by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
In its notification, the DHA Multan administration further claimed that the financial value of plots located within the Q, R, U and V sectors would also go up — with additional plans to develop an education, medical and sports city on Matital Road.
