Multan: Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) Chairman Lt Gen Muhammad Waseem Ashraf on Monday (March 29) provided his approval to the development of several mega projects including a Pakistan Square and an Indoor Sports Complex in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan, according to the society’s official Facebook page.

According to the details revealed, the PMC chairman visited DHA Multan where he was briefed by Project Director Brigadier Shoeb Anwar Kayani on ongoing development work. The project director also highlighted ‘DHAM contributions for mobilization of all private industries/segments linked with the construction industry, uplifting many families of Southern Punjab through enormous employment opportunities and providing top-class entertainment/amusement facilities’.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Square will connect DHA Multan with National Highway and M4 through Shah Rukn-e-Alam Gate (Qadirpuraan Bypass). It will also feature numerous attractions including ‘Pakistan’s tallest flag’. On the other hand, the Indoor Sports Complex will be constructed on Sector N’s Main Boulevard.
