Multan: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Multan recently organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the Rumanza Club, according to a post shared on the housing authority’s official Facebook page on December 22. Additionally, gas pipelines were also laid on the occasion.
This information was revealed through the society’s signature ‘Newsflash’ post that is published regularly on Facebook to publicise the latest developments taking place in DHA Multan. As per the above post, the authority held a special ceremony to handover the keys of DHA Multan Villas to the owners. The keys were handed over by the ceremony’s chief guest, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Naeem Ashraf HI (M) Commander 2 Corps, Chairman PMC.

Addressing the ceremony, DHA Multan Project Director Brig Shoeb Anwar Kayani termed the year 2021 as the ‘Year of Livability’ for DHA Multan, further stating that the authority was giving possession of villas one year ahead of the committed time frame.
During the same ceremony, the chief guest performed the ground breaking for the following projects:
- Gas pipeline laying in DHA Multan
- Construction of a grid station
- Construction of Rumanza Club
- Development of Driving Range

In addition, the chief guest inaugurated the Sports Complex in the society’s Sector R. The complex features a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, futsal court, tennis and badminton courts, children’s play area and an open air gymnasium.
DHA Multan Project Director Kayani also took the opportunity to unveil the DHA Multan Development Calendar for 2021 and further shared the details regarding the society’s current development status.
