Multan: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan has issued a final notice, cautioning defaulting members of the potential cancellation of their plots if overdue payments are not promptly settled. The official announcement, posted on the authority’s Facebook page on December 1, serves as a clear warning to members who have fallen behind on their financial commitments.

Originally set for October 31, 2023, the deadline for payment was extended to November 20, 2023, providing members with additional time to fulfill their obligations. However, the repercussions for non-compliance are now in effect, particularly for Phase-I members with plots in Sectors M, Q, and R. Effective December 1, 2023, DHA Multan has officially cancelled plots belonging to defaulting members in these specified sectors.
The following are the details:
Nature of Default | Cancellation Type |
Cost of Plot | Cancellation of Plot |
Development Charges | Cancellation of 1st Location Ballot Result (General Ballot 2017 & OL category only) |

However, there is a window of opportunity for those affected, as the cancellation can be restored, but only until December 31, 2023. This deadline is non-extendable and hinges on the complete settlement of all overdue instalments, along with any applicable surcharges. Additionally, the cancellation policy for defaulting members in the remaining sectors is slated to be announced shortly.
