Multan: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan held a groundbreaking ceremony for the DHA Multan Expressway on Saturday (October 21). This was shared through a post on the authority’s official Facebook page on October 23.

The post shared that Project Director Brig Shoeb Anwar Kayani, SI(M), officiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the DHA Multan Expressway, a colossal infrastructure project set to transform connectivity in the region. The expressway, spanning 300 feet in width with 12 lanes, commences at Multan Public School Road (Bahauddin Zakariya Gate) and will provide a direct link to Multan City.
During the ceremony, the Project Director emphasized the significant advantages that the DHA Expressway would bring to the residents. He noted that this expressway would substantially reduce travel times and distances for those commuting to Multan City. Additionally, it is expected to boost construction, enhance liveability, stimulate business activities, and contribute to the appreciation of property values in DHA Multan.
Moreover, Brig Shoeb Anwar Kayani highlighted that the extensive road infrastructure and connectivity represent a defining feature of DHA Multan, positioning it as a self-sustained community. Notably, DHA Multan boasts four grand entrances at National Highway, Bosan Road, MPS Road in Multan City, and Matittal Road, further underlining its connectivity and accessibility.
