Multan: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Multan administration has announced special measures and fee reductions aimed at facilitating its business partners, according to a post shared on the authority’s Facebook page on April 20.

As per the details, the administration has taken certain measures such as an easy payment schedule for service benefit payments, permission to conduct open transfers, and surcharge waiver scheme to support its business partners. The following are the details of these measures:
Validity period of No Demand Certificate (NDC):
- NDC validity period has been increased from 30 days to 45 days
- After the validity period, a daily surcharge will be levied at the rate of PKR 1,000 per day for 15 days period
Easy payment schedule of service benefit:
- Service benefit payment schedule upon transfer is decreased from 20 years to 3 years
- Upon transfer, it will be 5 years rather than 3 years

Surcharge waiver scheme 2022
- 100% surcharge will be waived for instalments due up till March 31, 2022, if they are paid by May 31, 2022
Permission to conduct open transfer – Registered Realtors of DHA Multan
- Open transfer has been allowed for DHA Multan’s relators for a period of 60 days including the validity period of NDC
- The realtors must submit an affidavit to the authority stating they will complete the transfer within 60 days
- Formalities of purchaser side within the allowed period
