Following the teaser about Defence Raya that was rolled out in local publications a few days ago, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has finally launched villas and commercial plazas in Phase III of the project.
This time around, too, the authority has adopted its old policy for booking: interested individuals will be required to submit an application form with cash, demand draft and pay order to settle application charges.

Time for submission
If you want to avail this opportunity you need to make the move between May 9 and May 23, 2016. The application must be submitted to all branches of Askari Banks or to Defence Raya’s office in Y Block.
Balloting
According to the official DHA website, balloting to announce lucky winners will be held on June 21 and ballot results will be published on Defence Raya’s website on June 23.
The authority will start dispatching intimation letters to the successful applicants on June 27, 2016.
Prices of villas and commercial plazas
Thirty-three 1-kanal villas, 20 2-kanal villas and 35 commercial plazas are up for grabs. Please see the tables below to have an idea about the prices of the mentioned properties:

Successful applicants will be required to pay 5% of the total price within 14 days of the ballot and 15% within the next 14 days. If you fail to pay either of these amounts, your allotment will be cancelled and the authority will refund your paid amount after a 50% deduction has been made.
Who should consider this opportunity?
Those on the lookout for residential options in a high-end community that boasts a serene environment should consider this opportunity. Obviously, investors can also capitalise on this project because they can earn some gains on booking(s) and instalments, but there are better options for them to consider. For instance, Prism IX is worth looking checking out in the current scenario.
