Lahore: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore has notified the launch of a commercial testing facility for construction materials, according to a post shared on the society’s official Facebook page on October 20.

At the DHA Material Testing Lab, following tests are performed:
- Comprehensive strength test for Concrete
- Bearing capacity test for residential and commercial buildings
- Non-destructive test (Schmidt Hammer) for strength of concrete
- Compressive strength test for bricks and tuff pavers
- Compaction test for backfilling
