Lahore: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore on Sunday (September 6) unveiled the details regarding its new offer pertaining to the sale of residential and commercial plots on a 3-year payment plan — with a DHA Lahore open ballot to be held on October 26 for this purpose, according to the authority’s official Facebook page.
This recent announcement follows the authority’s previous teasers regarding the aforementioned offer — with its decision being in line with Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s policy for the housing sector.
Interested parties have been invited to apply for the open ballot between September 16 and October 5. The sizes of residential plots on offer are 2-kanal, 1-kanal, 10-marla, 7-marla and 5-marla. Similarly, the commercial plots on offer are 80-marla, 40-marla, 16-marla, 8-marla, 4-marla and 2-marla in size.
Moreover, DHA Lahore has also announced a relaxation in the bylaws for commercial construction on these plots. The developers will be able to enjoy the following special incentives:
Furthermore, DHA Lahore has announced new commercial areas, entertainment facilities and educational institutes in order to offer better amenities for its residents. Reportedly, the details of phases, sizes, prices, registration fee and instalment fee will be posted on DHA’s official website (www.dhalahore.org) by September 16.
The residential scheme had previously launched developed plots in established phases in February 2016 and October 2019 as well — with the authority receiving a great public response at the time.
