Lahore: The Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore management announced on Wednesday (July 22) that its local offices had resumed their complete routine functions following their temporary suspension in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a notification carried on the society’s official Facebook page.
The DHA Lahore office has requested its esteemed patrons to comply with the government-sanctioned standard operating procedures (SOPs) while on-premises, to avoid contracting the coronavirus infection. The timings announced for public dealing in DHA Lahore office are from 9:30am to 4:30pm – during all working days.
Meanwhile, the society management also communicated the process for installing a generator at workplaces and private residences. For installation of a power generator, the applicant must submit an application, attached with a copy of his/her Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) and the copy of allotment/transfer letter.
Furthermore, the DHA administration has also exempted 50% of the excess area charges for houses with a land area of 1 kanal or above – provided that they install a solar system of 10 KW or exceeding. If the solar system is deactivated or removed at any stage the discount in excess area charges will be reversed.
