Karachi: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi administration issued a cyclone ‘Gulab’ warning for all its residents and requested the residents to secure their construction materials, according to a post shared on the authority’s Facebook page.

As per the details on the post, the administration asked the residents of DHA Karachi, who are involved in any type of construction activity, to secure the construction material such as boards, bamboos, shuttering, and all other loose items that might cause damage to property and human lives.
Moreover, the administration also requested the residents to report any damaged and loose billboards, road signs, and signboards in commercial areas and on roads. To facilitate the residents and take immediate action, DHA Karachi has established a helpline 1092.

In another post shared on the authority’s Facebook page, the administration announced that DHA Emergency Response Teams will be available at different locations to facilitate residents. The authority also shared information regarding relief camps, rain relief & recovery centres, and information centres.
