DCK has invited applications from reputable consultant firms that possess vast experience in town planning. As per the notice issued, the management would welcome applications from consultants registered with the Pakistan Council for Architects & Town Planners (PCATP) and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Applicants can apply with any of the following combinations:
- Local consultant with compatible experience
- Local consultant in lead, plus foreign expertise as consortium
DCK will select the applicant on a ‘quality cum cost basis’. The process will comprise the following steps:
- In stage 1, consultancy firms will submit EOI, and will be shortlisted on the basis of relevant experience as outlined in the EOI document
- In stage 2, qualified firms will receive a request for proposal (RFP), and selection will take place according to technical and financial criteria of RFP
Prospective applicants can receive the EOI documents from the office of the Director D&C, DHA Karachi — after a payment of PKR 10,000. Applicants will submit this amount as a pay order in favour of DCK.
