Gujranwala: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Gujranwala has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ARY Laguna to develop a beach view society within DHA Gujranwala, according to a news report published on December 18.

ARY Laguna Chairman Salman Iqbal and DHA Project Director Brig Amer Kayani signed the document on behalf of their organisations. The signing ceremony was attended by top officials of both real estate establishments. Famous Anchor Waseem Badami was also invited to host the ceremony, where project officials briefed the attendees regarding the project. Project Director DHA Brig Amer Kayani in his address explained the ‘contours of the project that ARY Laguna shall be first of its kind project of entire South Asia being developed in DHA Gujranwala’.

According to reports, over 400 acres of land will be converted into a modern and exotic urban community. The project will also feature ‘an artificial crystal lagoon’ attraction that adds to the project appeal since it will bring an oceanic look to DHA Gujranwala. Once developed, this project is likely to become a tourist attraction in Punjab.
