Gujranwala: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Gujranwala has announced the ballot date for determining successful applicants – for allotting commercial and residential plots demarcated in October last year – via a print publication. The ballot will be held on February 6.
DHA Gujranwala publicised offers of 10-marla, 1-kanal, and 2-kanal residential plots, as well as 4 and 8-marla commercial plots, on a three-year instalment plan back in October 2018.
The non-refundable processing fee for applying for a 10-marla residential plot had been fixed at PKR 7,000. Similarly, buyers were to pay PKR 10,000 and PKR 15,000 for 1 and 2-kanal residential plots, respectively. Moreover, the non-refundable processing fee for commercial plots, as announced by DHA, was PKR 15,000.
The computerised ballot, scheduled for this Wednesday, will determine the list of successful applicants. These individuals will be required to make a down payment, in addition to following the procedures laid down by DHA Gujranwala.
As mentioned by the DHA in its previous publications, the total price of a 10-marla residential plot is PKR 4.4 million. The total price of a 1-kanal residential plot is PKR 7.4 million. The price set for a two-kanal plot is PKR 14 million. Meanwhile, 4 and 8-marla commercial plots cost PKR 22.5 million and 42.5 million, respectively.
