In my last post on DHA Gujranwala, I shed some light on the development status of DHA Gujranwala and quoted prices of property files being traded there. However, it has recently come to my attention that the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has planned to hand over possession of its ongoing project in Gujranwala within three years.
This is not just a rumour, as the DHA has advertised this big news in a newspaper. And another important thing that I want our readers and investors and prospective residents of DHA Gujranwala to know is that the DHA will set up a private power plant to ensure the provision of electricity 24/7.
Interestingly, it was Bahria Town that set the trend of private power plants to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to its residents. But a good thing copied remains a good thing in my opinion, so kudos to DHA for following suit.
Whatever the case may be, the 24-hour availability of electricity is something that will most likely allow DHA Gujranwala to outshine other high-end localities in Gujranwala. What’s more, DHA Gujranwala will also feature a medical college, a hospital, a riding and polo club, community centre, sports centre, and last but not least, a central mosque.
On the basis of precedence, I can presume that with this news of possession in 3 years, the prices of property files in DHA Gujranwala may witness a sudden hike, as three years is not really a long time in the context of long-term real estate investments. This is the time to do some research and closely observe trends, so friends, I suggest you get on it!
And on the basis of the past performance of the DHA and its status as an investment haven, I believe DHA Gujranwala should be seriously considered for investment.

The rates of the files differ and fluctuate on a daily basis according to supply and demand. 10 marla at 17.50 lacs and 1 kanal at 27 lacs as of today.
Dear Mr. Zain Nadeem, I agree with your evaluation and comments concerning DHA Gujranwala. You must have seen the Adv in leading Newspapers about DHA Gujranwala by the ” Property Management Advisors” who have made some contract with DHA Gujranwala for marketing & selling. They have fixed a price of Pak Rs. 4 million for Kanal plot and 2.3 million for 10 Marla plots on installments. Whereas on Cash Kanal for 35 lacs and 10M for 20 lacs.
Would you please throw your valueable comments on it. My concern is that presently the Files are selling in the open Market at lesser rates but on cash payments only. Regards
DHA’s Promises are made to be broken
They promise to give pocession of DHA Valley ISB within 3 years and now after 6 years ppl are still begging them to atleast let us know the status. But nothing is putting an affect on them. Big Giants doesen’s care their investor like DHA & Bahria….so, I very big NOOOOO to DHA & Bahria new projects untill they finish and handover the previous ones (DHA Valley, Bahria enclave 1 & 2 are instances)
