Bahawalpur: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur held its fifth plot-balloting event on Saturday (November 16), a news source reported. As per details, the scheme’s management organised the ballot process for 5-marla, 8-marla and 2-kanal residential plots; 4-kanal and 8-kanal farm houses; as well as 4-marla and 8-marla commercial plots.
GOC 35 Division Major General Muhammad Zahid Khan was invited as the chief guest of the event; with more than 400 other guests present at the occasion. Khan lauded the on-going fast-tracked development work of the project in Bahawalpur.
Previously, DHA Bahawalpur had handed over the possessions of selected plots in sectors A, B and C to some of its members. The administration also had announced its decision to establish the country’s largest cancer hospital in DHA Bahawalpur in collaboration with the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.
