Bahawalpur: The administration of Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur on Saturday (June 27) announced that it had simplified the procedure for on-behalf property transfers and abolished the power-of-attorney condition previously mandated for overseas clients requests, according to the society’s official Facebook page.

The society has also allowed dealers to be present for the conduct of transfers. The clients’ photographs will be acceptable with any background. Also, the DHA Bahawalpur management has resumed direct deals between clients.
Even though the clients will no longer need to make deals through authorised dealers, however, they will have to pay PKR 5,000 to the vendor for the preparation of the transfer documents.

Moreover, the society had previously announced in May that it has waived off surcharges on any outstanding dues till today (June 30).
