The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has entered Bahawalpur’s property market with the launch of a high-end residential project named DHA Bahawalpur.
An advert titled ‘Majestically Futuristic’ has been published in the newspapers, which announces the launch of the project. Booking of 10-marla and 1-kanal plots is open in the locality and the last date for booking is set to be August 28, 2015.
Interested individuals may apply for booking by submitting the booking form, which can be downloaded here.
Given below is the payment plan for 10-marla and 1-kanal plots in DHA Bahawalpur:

If you visit the website i.e. dhabahwalpur.com where instalment programme is launched-there are reference to other private scheme i.e. Royal City. I have a feeling that these plots are launched by a 3rd party-not by DHA? I dropped them an Email but nobody replied. Have you done your research that instalments are being offered by DHA directly?? And on their website “Royal city of Bahawalpur” is mentioned. It’s not Royal City’s project.

Its not about the city, its about the development. Bahawalpur is going to get a housing society that will most likely cater to the high-end living needs of the residents.
2.2 million for a 10-marla plot seems reasonable to me, but i am not sure how much development charges will be imposed in future. And from where is see the market, DHA is always a good investment.

installment plan will not be changed
I called DHA office to inquire the details , procedure for applying and I the answer was not satisfactory
1- I asked why the bank details not published in advertisement and in the website
2- I asked where to deposit the filled application
Answer was, “we do not accept the filled applications” and they also told me, “we will get details from bank” how ???? There are limited information available during the transfer and I suspect then what is the purpose of the application and fee of this application .
If someone can answer these two questions will be much appreciated .

It seems that the project is not launched by DHA , If you see the previous advertisements by DHA there is clear details of banks. And I am surprised why they not accept the filled application . What is the reason behind and how they will know that a person is applied for which category. DHA cannot get all details from banks. Also banks not responsible to send all the details to DHA , will bank send details from abroad . I checked the availability of forms from banks in Oman and they have no details for such project.
It looks suspicious to me .
