Bahawalpur: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Bahawalpur’s Horticulture branch has launched the ‘Go Green Tree Plantation Drive’ to mark National Tree Plantation Day, according to a post shared on the authority’s official Facebook page on April 14.

After the successful Spring Festival, the DHA administration has started the tree plantation drive to promote sustainability and greenery in the country and ensure a greener future for coming generations. As per the details, Project Director Brig Basharat Ali started the said drive by planting a sapling. While speaking at the occasion, the project director highlighted the importance of trees for life to grow and sustain. He went on to say that trees are essential for combating pollution and promoting a healthy lifestyle for all.

Moreover, every DHA Bahawalpur staff was asked to contribute to the initiative by planting a sapling. With this development, DHA Bahawalpur has once again reiterated its aim to provide its residents with a green living environment for all.
