Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General (DG) Muhammad Usman Moazzam has appointed LDA Director Law Syed Amir Hassan as the focal person to resolve the issues causing delays in handing over LDA Avenue-I property possession to the owners, reported a news source.

He issued the directives while presiding over a meeting at LDA Avenue-I office on Sunday.
As per the instructions given by DG Moazzam, several lawyers representing LDA Avenue-I will hold talks with developers of six housing schemes that have filed cases in the Lahore High Court (LHC). The purpose of these talks is to convince the petitioners to settle the matter out of court.

The director general also instructed the lawyers to work without any pressure to help the LDA handover property possession to the affectees of said project. Furthermore, he urged the lawyers to pursue the cases pending in LHC on a priority basis, and to ensure that no more delay is faced in this regard.
DG Moazzam ordered the officials concerned to address the problems of LDA Avenue-I members on an urgent basis. He specifically stressed on provision of water & sewerage, electricity, and gas supply in the residential scheme.
The LDA DG also instructed his staff to complete construction work at the LDA Avenue-I community centre on a timely basis so that it can be opened to public.
