Islamabad: National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Finance Chairman Asad Umar on Thursday was briefed on the projects being developed by the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF), a news source reported. FGEHF Director General Waseem Bajwa shared the latest updates with Umar during the latter’s visit to Sector G-13.

Bajwa apprised the committee chairman of the authority’s future development pursuits. He said that the FGEHF planned to award the contract pertaining to the installation of two more tube wells in the locality within two months. Currently, five tube wells remain fully operational in Sector G-13. The residents of the area would be provided with proper water supplies within the next three months, he added.

Furthermore, he said that the FGEHF would install a surveillance system comprising 32 CCTVs, as well as procure patrol vehicles, for ensuring security and safety of the residents within two months. At the occasion, several residents of G-13 apprised Umar of their concerns.
