Islamabad: Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) Director General (DG) Tariq Rashid on Friday (November 26) visited the construction sites of three apartments projects underway in the capital city, news sources reported. These projects included Kashmir Avenue Apartments, G-13 Chaklala Heights, and Skyline Apartments, Islamabad.

Reportedly, the DG asked the authorities to ensure rapid development and quick completion of these projects. According to an FGEHA representative, development on the three housing complexes is progressing quickly, with completion expected soon.

During his visit to the site, the DG was informed that the Chaklala project has 3,432 flats, while the Skyline Apartments have 3,945 units. In the future years, all of these flats will be available to federal government employees.
It was also revealed that the FGEHA would begin new residential housing projects for employees in order to solve the mounting concerns with residential units. In this context, the authorities have advertised Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the land sharing in leading newspapers.
