Lahore: Development work in Phase I of LDA City – a project of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) – is underway, according to a notification. The society is planned to become a city within the city.
At the moment, the LDA is developing a 180-feet wide road that will connect LDA City with Ferozepur Road, while the development of an international standard cricket stadium for the visually impaired has already been completed. The authority is simultaneously busy on the construction of a modern sports complex that spans 28 kanals.
In addition to that, the development of 300-feet and 150-feet wide roads within the society is also underway. The development work in LDA City was formally initiated in October, while the PC-1 worth PKR 33 billion for the project’s phase I was approved earlier in July this year.
