Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) disclosed that development work at Sector I-15 is progressing at a steady rate, according to news published on Friday (November 19).

As per the details, the 3,000 plots in the said sector are ready for possession, out of 10,000 plots. It was also mentioned that a significant part of the work has been completed. Last year, the CDA started development work in Sector I-15 including the construction of roads and streets. According to the officials (whose names were not disclosed), the development work will be completed by the end of next year. The officials disclosed that the work in Sub-sectors 1/3 and 4 was in progress, whereas CDA will soon call tenders for Sub-sector I-15/2.

Moreover, CDA’s spokesperson Syed Asif Ali stated that the management was focusing on all stalled sectors including E-12, and development work is progressing. As per the details, all the affectees will be allotted a plot in Sector I-12. It was reported that many affectees were compensated and a few are left. Reportedly, the federal cabinet ordered CDA to resolve the issues of Sector E-12 and to develop the sector for the relief of allottees.
