Islamabad: The planned infrastructure development work in sectors G-14/2, G-14/3 and G-14/4 of the capital city is scheduled for commencement within 15 days, a news source reported. This information was disclosed during a recent meeting between Federal Ombudsman Syed Tahir Shehbaz and several representatives of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA).
The FGEHA officials informed the meeting that the construction work of Sector G-14/1 would be completed in April. The participants were further told that several hurdles impeding the development of the FGEHA Housing Scheme situated on Kuri Road had been resolved. They were also informed about Sectors F-14, F-15 and apartments in Sectors I-12, I-15, I-16, G-10 and G-13.

FGEHA CEO Waseem Bajwa said that the development of Sector G-13 apartments was stalled because of the non-payment of dues from allottees. However, he added that the project was expected to achieve completion status by December 2020, and possession would be granted to the owners soon thereafter.
CEO Bajwa said that the infrastructure development work of G-13 sub-sectors would be completed within a time frame of 15 days and the construction work will be launched afterwards.

He added that the issues in the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme in Sector G-13 were being addressed. Additionally, he said that the development work in the Sectors G-15 and G-16 awaited court’s decision.
