Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed the development work of a street situated in Sector I-14/2 following a temporary suspension, according to news sources.
In the presence of a team comprising members of CDA’s Enforcement Directorate, Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA), local police and other concerned officials, the earthwork on the street was completed.

The civic agency, in a statement, stated that it had handed over the possession of two plots in Sector I-14/2 to their owners.

Meanwhile, officials of the National Highway Authority, ICTA and CDA’s Revenue staff demarcated 2,000-metre-long area along the GT Road, from Peshawar Mor to Tarnol Phatak. After the land demarcation, CDA will now execute its anti-encroachment drive in the area and eliminate illegal structures.
