Islamabad: Development work on the 230-kilometre long Abdul Hakeem Motorway M-3 has been completed by over 68%, a news source quoted Federal Minister for Communications Hafiz Abdul Karim. The project will be completed by August 2018.
Abdul Hakeem Motorway is estimated to cost PKR 148.6 billion. It will feature three service areas, three rest areas and eight interchanges. Karim encouraged the concerned departments to speed up the pace of development by utilising all means available and ensure on-time completion of the project. He was inspecting the ongoing work at the site, and was briefed on the project status. National Highway Authority (NHA) Chairman Jawad Rafique also accompanied him.
