Reportedly, the development work has remained stalled for seven years and now the authority management is resolved to complete it rapidly. CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal has stated that every effort will be implemented to ensure the rapid development of Sector C-15 and hand over the land to allottees at the earliest.

The authority had acquired Sector C- 15 back in 2008 based on land-sharing formula and the landowners were allotted developed plots of 1-kanal against 4-kanal land. However, the allotment letters to these landowners were not issued. As per the built-up property (BuP) award announced in 2016, some 504 persons were deemed eligible for the award. Of those 504 people, 167 were added to the A-list after they provided the required details, while 337 people were added to the B-list. It was revealed that a small portion of land ‘Dhoke Ashraf’ in the sector is yet to be acquired.
