Lahore: The development work Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has been initiated, according to a post shared by the developer on the developer’s official Facebook page. The commencement of developmental work — prior to the last date announced for the submission of forms for DHA Quetta — showcases the developer’s commitment to complete the project during the committed timeframe.

The Facebook post also contained images from the project site, which, as per the date mentioned on the image, reveals that the development work was initiated on December 3. Here are some of these images:
According to sources, the authority had invited town planners in January 2019, for the preparation of DHA Quetta’s town plan. As per the latest information, the town plan has been finalized. Currently is in the approval stage.

At the moment, machinery is being employed at the DHA Quetta site to carry out excavations and land leveling work. In addition, construction has also been initiated on the project’s main gate.
Our trusted sources revealed that DHA Quetta had enlisted 20 firms to carry out development work on the project. They also disclosed that, even though DHA Quetta’s deadline to submit application forms expires on December 13, the developer had already received an overwhelming response from overseas and local investors (particularly from within Quetta and Balochistan).
